The Southcoast has so much to offer in the Fall for everyone.

Apple picking is the perfect fall activity! There are many orchards to choose from in the area, but Sweet Berry Farm is a favorite of mine.
915 Mitchell’s Lane Middletown, RI 02842
At Sweet Berry Farm you can pick-your-own Pumpkins, Sunflowers, & Apples in the fall. In addition throughout the year you can pick-your-own strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, & blackberries. They also have a Christmas Tree Farm where they will cut, wrap, & tie the Christmas Tree you pick to your car.
Candy Apple Farm
788 Main St., Acushnet
Candy Apple Farm does not offer Apple picking, but this roadside stand has freshly made assorted candy apples, whoopie pies, homemade fudge, coffee milk with their own coffee syrup & more. They are open on Saturdays & Sundays 12-5pm.
For a real taste of fall, The Hard Pressed Cider Company located at 71 Weeden Ln in Jamestown, RI is must go to. They offer freshly made apple cider donuts, hot mulled cider, cider slushies, and traditional apple cider.
Do you have kids? Bristol, RI does an annual Halloween Walkabout every October. Local businesses who opt in hand out kids to kids 12 and younger in costumes. Some merchants also dress up. This is a great event in beautiful downtown Bristol. This year it is being held October 27, 2024 from 1:00-3:00pm. Be sure to stop by Herreshoff Marine Museum to have your photo taken with Elphaba, from Wicked in front of the old family homestead!
